Was brought to a cosy dining place in Bugis for dinner and followed by chinese dessert opposite BJ.
Signature dish: chicken salad tossed with chinese style sauce.
Very unique dish. And price there is not too high either, heard that it's opened by some JC GP teachers.
Me ordered snail sausage with spag. Nice too.
And the girls were starting to talk about the velvet cake (or i can't rmbr what) which was the birthday cake for the night. Another signature dessert over there, but jan said that it tasted somewhat like the one she baked at home. Which she threw away because there was no one to finsih it.. What a waste!! Could have asked us over to polish them of since we all live in the east. haha
And then crystal got bored and decided to play a prank on the waiter. She asked the waiter if they sell "chai tao kui" aka carrot cake. She insisted that its "chai tao kui" and not the western carrot cake that they had on the menu. HAHA. The rest of us were getting quite embarrassed as the waiter went puzzled and went to check with the other staff. Few minutes later, he came back and told us that there's no "chai tao kui" but he can buy it from outside if we insisted.
That was really good service. We expected the waiter to either ignore our stupid request or to ask us if we're just joking.. In the end, Jan spared the waiter by changing the order to velvet cake instead. hahaa..
OH wait, it's not the end yet. Crystal the prankster decided to write a note for the waiter to commend on his good service. And she purposely left him a number as if she is suggesting something.. Zz. BUT OF CAUSE, she wouldn't write her own number. So I became her victim instead. -___-''' Dunno why I got myself involved in her mischief. But it was fun, it's been a long time since such amusing things happen. TOo bad the waiter didn't call in the end. hahahaa
