HK trip!!

the annual return to hk trip is back!! this time round with guest-in-appearance: ibuprofen!!!

day 1: touched down late at night, slept early for yum cha early next morning...

day 2: yum cha-ed at 8am in the morning.. mum and grandfather went to china for a short trip and i had to accompany my grandma back home after yum cha. went out shopping alone in the afternoon and recce-ed for places to shop aroung mongkok. i'm still very lousy with directions in mongkok! -_-''' anyways, spent like 500 bucks on the first day on a pullover and food and a PSP game. went home early so that grandma dun haf to worry. but i was still late. grandma woke up from her nap thinking that it was 7am in the morning. then she went to check on me and realised i was not home yet at 7am!! she had a big shock and called up my aunt to check. and then she realised it was only 7pm. and i came back at 730pm. -___-''' spent the night playing the psp game until i had a headache and muttered words to ibuprofen who just touched down in hk.

day 3: met ibuprofen in mongkok for the start of our shopping spree!!! shopped around argyle centre and bought bag, shorts and some tops.. meanwhile we thought of the things that we are going to eat since we're back in hk.. drools*

day 4: shopping in hk island! decides to venture further this time so we shopped at admiralty and causeway bay area.. found out that mango and zara are also having sale and we stumbled into this shop that sell skirts for HK1600++.. the price seems too unreal to even appear in play-pretend kid games.. dengs -__-''

took the tram to causeway bay (refer to ibuprofen for photos) and introduced ibuprofen to the mango dessert drink from xiu liu shan. dunno about the rest but to me thats like the must-drink beverage in hk especially during summer.. it just feels damn shiok to be munching sweet and cool mangoes while being scorched under the big hot sun.

then we had Krispy Kreme!! the 3 flavoured one and the coffee one.. forgot the name.. haha

went back to kowloon area to try the red ant restaurant.. and got pissed by a stupid kid for nothing. TSK.

day 5: continues shopping now at NT area, shatin!! and went to the library to tag BANYAK on our blogs and write BANYAK emails.. shopped and ate


and ate and ate..
somehow ibuprofen always complained that she's hungry.. how many times must she get pregnant ah....

day 6: OFF day for both of us to spend time with family =)

meanwhile i was pigging out with my aunt and uncle and cousies at this jap restaurant. went there once again after more than 3 years to eat the humongous ramen.

day 7: ktv day!!!! both of us had always wanted to sing canto songs but there were very few canto ones in sg kbox.. so ktv is always part of the itinery in hk.. haha was abit shy last year when i sang in hk with ibuprofen but this year i dun really care le.. just sang oldies like as if i'm born b4 the 80's.... hahahaha

this girl challenged me to all the crazy theme songs from those hk dramas!!! WOOT!! she dunno how to sing but she still went to chose those songs la~~~!!!! good thing i rose to the challenge and managed to sing some of the songs... and also thanks to her, i sang 叉烧包。LOL.

nearly sang our tummies out from 2-7 that day, so we settled for the "famous" noodle shop that was jus across the road. the one that i bought xinyi and xiuting to last time.. here's the beef brisket noodle ->

went down to temple street to buy photos for rag.. apparently there weren't any suitable ones along the tourist area so we had to venture out to the hawker stalls further down yau ma tei. innocent me has never walked past those stalls before even though i can see from far the stuff that they were selling.. hahahha but it was ok la.. both of us walked quite fast. but while i was walking, i felt a hand holding onto my hand (near watch area) for a split second.

and fortunately, i managed to spot some photos at one of the stalls. try to bargain like 50 bucks worth of photos but i tink the seller wans us to buy more.. bought 13 for 55 bucks. yeah!!! =)

day 8: second last day!! pia-ed down to causeway bay to buy souveniors and ibuprofen's shoes then head down to shatin to shop at the cheaper areas.. lousy me got the shopping area wrong the previous time i went with her.. end up shopping at out-of-budget shops. -_-''

it was the last dinner together at hk and i kept complaining that i still haven ate my french toast. so we went around looking for places tat will sell french toast... and we found this cha chan ting.. yeah they sell french toast!! applauses***

and ibuprofen fervently poking her 5 pieces of lemon in her lemon tea. notice that she pokes the lemons so fast that the camera couldn't catch her movements... HAHAHHAHAHA

oh and i requested that she poke the lemons in my lemon tea too.. but it turned out to be not as good as hers coz she poked the skin as well.. hahah not very particular with lemon tea but since she said it was not pokeed nicely, i shall TSSSKKKK at her... XD

we always order a table full of food becoz the tables in HK are too small.. muahahahhahahaha!! XD

day 9: and twas was the end of ze self-discovering, fun-filled, money-depleting hk trip this july.. many thanks to ibuprofen for the entertaining company the past week... =)
