and after ploughing thru all the ticketing websites, we found BUTS!!
Ballet Under the Stars -

Sounds gd!! and there's even time for picnic before the show!!! and if there's picnic means there must be more pple other than jus Edwin and i.. so in less than 15min of calling and asking, the small idea has evolved into an acacian outing!! ultimate impromptu-ness*
bought tix 2days later and asked everyone to prepare a spread of goodies which became this:
Felt v proud of the Acacians who managed to whip this up in such a short notice and everything on the picnic mat is way better than those pizzas, tako-pachi and sandwiches that you mite find on the picnic mats around us.. Even our beverage (Lemonade) is hand-made!!! Alas, we lacked the dessert girl (Xinyi) and the noisy girl (Sweelan) with us that day. A humongous apology to XINYI who didn't know abt the outing until she came back.. :(NVM WE WILL DO THIS AGAIN!!!

and the show starts...
the first part were mostly multiracial dances by schools so its turned out to be quite boring after awhile.. notices a row of acacians performing the same activity*
can understand that the 2 in front shud be sms-ing their pacars... wad abt mayi????soon the sun setted and dark clouds loomed above us. some chipmunk was still playing away while the rest got ready their umbrellas and ponchos..
it was not long before it rained. the chipmunk and cantik got in their ponchos. wad a scandalous pic of the two 小蓝s** haha
the rest huddled together under 3 umbrellas.. 狼狈....却很温暖.

only managed to catch 2 full ballet performances and the first sequence of the last one.. indeed, i was mesmerized. but not under the celestial canopy of stars, more like the enduring canopy of 3 umbrellas which stayed till the last performance. XD
memorable songs for the day were the the jarring indian music, umbrella by rihanna and lin yu zhong's lin yu zhong.. hahaha mayi and i should have sang: 冷冷雨... wooooo~~~~ 没焦点因找不到你!!!!!!

the last piece happened to be Edwin's tang yuan. so it had to be finished by zhong ji mi ma which i can be quite suay at.. =(
the numbers were super near when it was coming to lifang and saya.. but lifang said the number!! phew* cantik refuses to eat up the whole tang yuan so she ate half*
sulks after eating the forfeit*
