end of week 2

Learnt alot from the staff. the customers, phebe and of coz, mr prece*tor.

And phebe and i have come to a conclusion that parkway g***dian is really a busy place. and the customers there are MAD.

You have people coming in with baskets and shopping lists. and cartons and cartons of stock keep coming in. and somehow the stocks jus disappear from the shelves the next day we return to work. so it was endless shelving and stock checking and labelling throughout the day.

the only effective time (usually about 1-2hrs/day) was spent w mr prece*tor as he continued to ask us weird questions and questions that have obscure answers. oh btw he treated phebe and i to andersens while we discussed about paracetamol outside the pharmacy. that place was too busy to sit down quietly for discussion. too bad phebe and i were sick if not i would have ordered ice cream. =)

and he said we are ready to counsel on pain, fever, headache already aft so much drilling of paracetamol, NSAIDs, thermometers. but i guess both of us are not very confident. :P missed a fat chance to counsel on aspirin!

the staff there are quite friendly. there's one of them who is the same age as me when i thot she was MUCH older. oops. haha. the store manager is very kind too! she didn't ask us to do things so that we can learn from observing and from mr prece*tor. and she has her own way of comforting herself in times of stress. as i've said, the store is a super busy place, all kinds of people come and ma fan her all the time. yup. harus learn from her!

one of the days, the siglap phar*er came and painted a bleak picture of retail pha*m and pharm as a whole on both of us.. obviously he's the slacker kind, but he can speak well. i guess people have different interests even tho all of us are phar*ers...

the music is getting better and better nowadays. justin timberlake, nelly furtado, green day, maroon 5, mariah carey, LINKIN PARK!! and of coz there's the silver paint umbrella song! haha but it sounds quite irritating when she sings "brella, brella, brella" non-stop. :P

oh there seem to be a bubble tea culture in the store too. everyday i see a few cups of bubble tea on the table. Indeed, bubble tea taste super good and comforting after a hard day's work!! okays whoever visits me during my breaks, i treat them bubble tea! only $1.50!! hahahha yey.
