oh my, i'm like jumping from heaven to hell!!!!
haha and as for the OP people, we were definitely smiling to ourselves as we flew from hell to heaven..
so why was it such a heaven up there?
firstly, the pace was slower and students like us DON'T HAVE to pick and pack because they have enough staff. Next, we get to follow pharmers around and look at patients, bed side counselling.. bla bla.. and lastly, the pharmers were not as busy with their work and so they are more willing to teach us and let us follow them.
that's probably some of the reasons why pharmers themselves prefered IP to OP. :)
first week was pretty much orientation, throwing away the OP habits and adopting new IP habits.. haha
something different from OP in IP is that there is returning of drugs when the patient is discharged or when the medication is cancelled. and for most of the afternoon, the PTs spend most of their time arranging the meds and returning them to their respective trays. while returning meds, bao hui and I looked at all the colourful capsules and wished that we could have some. haha but of coz we couldn't steal them unless they dropped on the floor.

and first week was spent trying to decipher IMRs, case notes and busy answering the pharmer's qns. it was good that we didn't have any preceptor to follow so we had the freedom to follow any pharmers. and of coz we chose the easy-going ones. haha but bao hui's one was not that easy after all.
back at home I CRIB-ed right after dinner. Even if it was IP, i was still drained of energy towards the night. I have OP hmk to finish while the IP hmk keeps surging in.
