Let's introduce my newly bought snacks!!
1) My old time favourite - 鸡仔饼! probably one of the heaty things that I can eat when I was young. My first step to knowing more abt HK snacks.

2) 臭豆腐 that you can smell miles and miles away!! Rarely seen in HK hawker stalls now but you'll always remember where you can found it becoz its smell is so distinct!

3) 煎攘三宝, namely the tofu, capsicum and red pepper. A colourful kebab also rarely seen in HK already and they dun sell in threes... haha but you can always order it in yum cha restaurants.

4) 炸大肠 - my mum's favourite. Never really liked the strange taste from it but my cousins loved it as well. Anyway this thing is just made up of CHOLESTEROL. lol

5) 牛什 - another VERY rare hawker food. Usually seen in 车仔面 food stalls but not as a snack anymore.. anyways a big EUW from me if I ever see this..

6) 弼仔糕 - oh this is really nice!!! another old time favourite!! red bean mixed in a pudding texture cake made from sugar (white) or brown sugar (brown). Very hard to buy this also, but usually my aunt gets it for me everytime i go to hk.. :)

7) 格仔饼 and 鸡仔饼 hawker stall. Classic paper bags and plastic shelves. :)

8) 肠粉 - never see this in hawker before but we all know that its nice and probably it has upgraded itself to yum cha food. haha 煎肠粉 is the best together with sweet sauce and peanut sauce!

9) and FINALLY we have come to our best-selling, really all time favourite amongst young and old - 咖喱鱼蛋!!!! woohoo cheers*

Anyway let me explain what happened to Mayi during the last lunch on the cruise:
Mayi challenged me to bring back 咖喱鱼蛋 for her from HK and I told her that I really brought them back. On hearing that, she got excited and asked how did i bring back the 咖喱鱼蛋. Then, her hand started gesturing beyond the space and something was way too IMMINENT. Her inner demon probably asked her to come up with a finale performance before the end of the cruise. ok more pics will be uploaded at my own risk. hahaha
and here's the whole collection of HK 街头小吃!!

together with the stall.. haha so cool~~

I will bring you to eat these snacks when you go to HK k!! drools*
