lalalala finally blogging about 18th Oct. had a wonderful day, though the first half was spent mugging for patho ca. -_-

the clock struck 12 and an unexpected bday sms sent my hp vibrating on the table. ah the first bday sms! guess who? someone i could never imagine. huimin!!! omg wad a surprise. her sms was not only the first but also the MOST CREATIVE bday sms received this year. haha she must be a v creative person, maybe i'll recruit her for mayi's 50th bday party. hahaha~ //oh by the way i really went to eat a bowl of noodles that day. =)

then came the phonecalls: xiu xiu and twin! heard from twin that a certain friend tagged on my blog because SHE lost her hp before she would wish me. Thinking that it could be someone impt, i went online to check. Indeed, that toot lost her hp. =( Nevertheless, we chatted for awhile on msn and wished her gd luck for her midterms at smu. //glad to know that you cared. =)

a scab from ibuprofen's arm. is there a reason why she has a wound healing rate of a snail??? drug interactions? metabolic status? renal, hepatic fn? mineral deficiency?

Had to wait for an hour or so for the patho test and most of us were getting restless while studying at the usual wooden 8pax bench. but i guess the rest of them were restless becoz they were hiding one big agenda happening right after the test. -_-

Halfway thru the long wait (to be exact it was at 1plus) i was distracted by a sms from my ibu. both my parents are super capable of writing things that tug at my heartstrings. As it would be quite ridiculous to be tearing like a cow out of a sudden, i bent down and pretended to fall asleep.

patho test ended. received first big hug of the day from chelsea. =) and wishes from bx and others... (thks!)

was comtemplating if i should be an idiot and run away again like what i did in J2.. haha anyway the story in J2 was: the whole cohort were supposed to be going for GP extra remedial that day and each fac had their lessons in the respective LTs. So apparently my classmates wanted to surprise me that day but to their horror, I ponned the S1 Fac's lesson and went to join my teammate at the S3 fac lesson. in the end, they called after the lesson to catch me before i left. and during the whole lesson they turned their back everytime the door opened to see if it was me. HOHOHO.. but anyway they presented their present and a performance by my music prodigy classmate on the piano! It feels quite heart-warming to have someone dedicating a musical performance for you. =)

I was thinking that I would never get to enjoy such musical performances again, but before i knew it, i was led into mayi's room to see AN ORCHESTRA of keyboard, trumpet, guitar, harmac, recorder and tambourine!!

not forgetting the vocals, sweelan!! and they were all dressed in 7 dwarves tee-shirt!! (somehow it reminded me of a scene in SW and 7D where the 7Ds played instruments and SW sang. this time round, a change of roles coz no one wants to hear SW sing.. hahaha)

Warmly welcomed by a Happy Birthday symphony!! Acacians are sooo musically-inclined!!!! *applauds*

the least expected instrument player!! actually this idea was brought up before by xiuting but i guessed the performance was to be saved for grad dinner.. haha SURPRISED!!

and served with instant noodles while watching the performance. what a luxury!! (which only applies to me who would like to eat soggy instant noodles.) the noodles were painstakingly made with some lousy stove in the kitchen so i shouldn't complain like how the cook does. Anyway anything made by my ibu is GOOD and very GOOT. rite??? =))))) not forgetting to her 2 helpers, the "liao" were delicious too!!

and while i was eating, i was supposed to listen to their individual performance and give critics with the lucu signboards. haha multi-tasking!! ahh you very GOOT!!!

ok refer to mayi's blog abt the pieces that they played. xiuting's and xinyi's pieces were excellent while lifang and edwin's pieces were eye-openers! haha never knew lifang was in guitar club and never knew the recorder can have 抖音 one.. cool. and of coz MANY praises for ibu (she is an unbelievable piano 8th grader. whoa~~!!!) who played the jay chou song. It was my first time listening to all of them play an instrument. not even xiuting who was in band in sec sch, nor ibu whom i could have sabo-ed her to play during her bday.

Present time!!! haha was quite excited to see what kind of things they can buy out of my badly-done wishlist. obviously the wishlist was not meant to be fulfilled due to its level of complexity. Like where on earth would you find a watch storage case? and to ask a non-bowler to get bowling equipment?? personally i dun really know where to get them also, but i will tag along if someone goes shopping. and summore what kind of bowling equipment do i want? I rmbr saying 3 different things to 3 different groups of people so as to mislead everyone. But i guess in the end, all of them agreed unanimously that i needed a pair of shoes more than a bag.

Finally, i din get any of them, i got vouchers!!! How smart! leaving the final decision to the indecisive me. YEY!! i shall think of how to spend it after exams. sliding pads + bag ? or shoe?

Present 2: collage with ALOT of post-stics on it!! supposed to peel them off one by one. the dark orange ones were inverted coz someone was trying to be special. indeed, the acacians know me quite well over this 2 or 3 sems. good job! =)

made a thank you speech and watch the behind the scenes video! reminded me very much of MBPS. =) went back to take a look at the MBPS blog post and it was not as long as this one.. haha obviously not. It would be 10000000000x longer than this one if I start writing.

oh oh before we left i managed to catch a scandal!!! hohohohohoho~~ they were caught walking out of the room a few min after all of us left. DENGS*

"kidnapped" to suntec to have steamboat dinner~~ cool. wanted to treat them to dinner but they complained that it was too ex, so i had to collect money from them.. hmmm too bad. the price was actually reasonable. and after learning from twin his swift money paying skill, i forked out my card in a matter of seconds b4 Idunnowhatweretherestdoing. now i have a thin pile of money lying in my drawer.

tired after a day of mugging and fun~~ wad a well spent birthday! thks to all those who sent me bday wishes on sms/facebook/phone/etc... was too busy to reply some of u.. haha paiseh la~

and thks to APD of the day!! Thks for making the collage and recce-ing for food! I wan to eat ice-cream also!!! Thks banyak ya, must have took alot of your time to plan bday saya, especially with all those tests and stuff around. =) (hmmm, if i have a chance i would love to organise a bday for you too~ haha)

and of coz many thks to the beloved PD~!!! i want a 5page report about the planning of the bday!! haha kidding.. can tell the PD and APD put in alot of effort ya.. haha aiya stop spoiling ur anak already la, spoil you then u know ah.. hohoho spoil 我你就安乐啦~~~ 肥婆~ 啊你个野呀, 仲响道俾个YEAH 样喎!
